Our History
Founder of the office, Nelson Eizirik was, during some years, chief of the Law Department of the Brazilian Institute of Capital Market – IBMEC and, after, Director of the Securities and Exchange Commission – CVM (1986/1988).
Establishment
In Rio de Janeiro, Nelson Eizirik established the office Eizirik e Associados together with Ariadna Bohomoletz Gaal (in memoriam).
1989
Partnership with Modesto Carvalhosa
A partnership began with the Professor of the Faculdade de Direito da USP, Modesto Carvalhosa, that lasted for more than 20 years, until 2016.

Eizirik Advogados
As of December 2016, the office assumed the name Eizirik Advogados, under the leadership of its founder and of the continuous support and coordination of the group of lawyers that are part of it.
